Violent llamas interview

December 2001

The band will soon recover from the loss of thier bassist last year. "We decided to go back to the studio this time and do it right" Says Biff Baxter. "I think this time after trying out several people I think we may be able to make a decision. It would be great to get back out again."

Q; Is there any Idea why he left especially while the band had some momentum?

A; Biff B " Um, I'm really not sure. When we tried to reach him he wouldn't call us back. Something about aliens and small fish with umbrellas I think.

Q; Do you guys think a full recording is in the works this year?

A; Band "hell Yes!"

Q;What is your goal as a band now?

A; Biff B "same as before to get laid."

Q; I'm serious.

A; Biff B "So am I.

Q; Do you think One will continue to sing? I know he's had some stress about the last recording of Terror in My Mind.

A; Biff B "Well, It's kind of my fault about that. Our songs can get really long and sometimes when we're at a show and really jammin it's hard to break the mood. You know when the crowd is into it, it kind of flows you know. But I screwed up on the recording. Smiley asked me when we were recording was something missing? I said no everything's ok print it!. I was a happy fucker. But you know One couldn't make it that day. but like I said I fucked up. At least four measures were missing from the end of the song. But after playing it back it had that perfect kinda groove. not to long not to short, you know. So when One found out what happened he tried to kick our asses. So we started fight'n in this dudes studio."

Q; Did you guys really fight!

A; Biff B yeah, we kinda messed up this dudes studio but you know we tore him off and everything was ok after that.

Q; Did anybody get hurt?

A; Biff B No ! Well... maybe a little uh,

A; Smiley Yeah everybody beat everybody elses asses!

Q; Is it true Old McPopeye urinated on the floor in front of the audience?

A; Smiley No absolutely not! What happened is that in the middle of "Guarding the Gates" he had to pee and ran off the stage leavingn me One and Biff to try to pick up the slack. Its kind of hard with a three piece and a singer and the bass element is gone!

Q; I kind of enjoyed the last performance, especialy with all the erratic jiggling and One's best performance yet. Did you plan that fall?

A; One Yes I did. It wasn't so much a fall as it was a callapse.

Q;oh.
